We do not perform a color matching process. If you have concerns about the appearance of a particular color, we recommend the following:

  • Make sure that your file is set up in CMYK color mode
  • Make sure that all colors in your file are 4-color process colors
  • If you have access to the Pantone Bridging swatch book, review your colors so you can see how they will translate into 4-color process
Can I get a black pouch?

Yes. Your artwork will dictate the pouch color. For a black pouch, you would create a black background within your print file.

We do not recommend printing Rich Black on your pouches. The truest black we print is 100% Black with no Cyan, Magenta, or Yellow. Rich Black tends to have a browner appearance when printed with our digital press.

Please do not send us art files for an order that has not yet been submitted. All print files received through our website are reviewed by a member of our in-house graphics team. If there is an issue with your print file or we have questions about the artwork, we will reach out to you via email before proceeding with the production of your order.

What material should I use for my pouch?
  • If you want a window in your pouch, please choose Clear material.

  • If neither of those scenarios are applicable, please choose White material, which is our most commonly used option.
Can I get an electronic proof of my pouch?

Our in-house graphics team personally reviews all uploaded, incoming print files before an order can be moved to production. So, you can be assured that if there is anything preventing your order from printing, our folks will reach out to you with feedback on the specific issue(s) and what needs to be fixed.
If no changes or revisions are needed with your file(s), you will receive an order summary via email that includes the specifications and a low-resolution version of your print(s). THIS IS YOUR PROOF. But we move fast, so we do not want, nor will we wait for an approval from you before moving your order into production.

Note: We do not proofread your print file(s) for spelling, copy errors, or omissions, UPC or QR code accuracy.

Note: Any changes to your order due to errors or omissions in your print file or specifications may be subject to additional charges, and your production date can be delayed.

Can I get a physical, printed proof of my pouch?

Our production moves very quickly! As a result, we cannot provide physical proofs for you due to the cost and inefficiency involved. However, since we have no minimum order quantity requirements, you can place an order for one pouch. And that pouch is not a hand-made prototype; it will be manufactured just like any other order.

Can I upload an AI or PSD file to print my pouches?

No, our website will only allow high resolution PDF uploads for artwork. If you have questions about creating a high-resolution PDF file, please download a free template from our website and it will give you the specifications you will need to create custom artwork for your pouch.

Can I upload a multiple page PDF for printing?

No, please upload a PDF file with one page, for each pouch you are ordering.

Can you revise my files for me?

Yes, for a fee. If you are not able to revise the files to be print-ready, we offer a file set up service to help you with your files. It is $125 per file. We will bill you offline with an invoice. There will be a link in the invoice to pay online.

What is the best program to set my files up for printing?

We recommend setting your files up in Adobe Illustrator (AI). AI has the print capabilities we need to be able to print all files properly. Our die lines are set up in Adobe Illustrator and include all specifications needed to create print ready files. Link here

How do I set my files up to print multiple pouches?

Each pouch you want to order will need to have its own PDF file set up on one of our die lines. You will have the opportunity to upload each file when placing your order.

Can I email you the links and fonts for my file if they are missing?

Please do not email us files for missing links or fonts for your files. We do not have a prepress department and therefore are not able to receive any files other than the high-resolution PDF files set up to print.

How do I fix missing fonts?

Please outline all text in your Illustrator file. This will eliminate any fonts in your file.

How do I fix missing links?

Please embed all links in your Illustrator file. This will eliminate any missing links in your file.

Can you help me set up my artwork?

Yes. Our Design for Me program was devised to help people who don’t have access to a designer, create artwork for a professionally, custom printed pouch for their product. Details for the Design for Me program are here: link to DFM page.

Why does my file change color when I upload it to your website?

This will happen when the original file uploaded is in RGB color format. Our website will automatically convert all files to CMYK color format to be able to be printed digitally. When the file is converted there can be a shift in color. If the CMYK color you see isn’t what you are expecting when printed, we recommend returning to your original file, converting it to CMYK within Illustrator, then finding an acceptable color while in the CMYK color mode.

Can you print Pantone solid ink colors?

No, we cannot. All pouches are printed digitally with 4 colors – Cyan, Magenta, Yellow & Black (CMYK). Our press will try to digitally reproduce a Pantone ink color to the best of its ability, using CMYK. Please note, Pantone colors convert to CMYK at varying levels of accuracy. For the best representation of a Pantone color converted to a CMYK color, please review a Pantone Color Bridging Coated swatch book.

Can you print areas that are matte and other areas that are gloss on a pouch? (Spot Varnish)

No. Because of our manufacturing process, we are not able to offer spot finishes. We offer finishes that are either all matte or all gloss finishes, not a combination of both.

Can I print over the zipper?

Yes. We can print over the zipper. The zipper is seen as a slightly raised area on the outside of the pouch and does not affect the readability of the artwork that is printed over the zipper. However, if you do not want your artwork to print over the zipper, please adjust your artwork. The die lines that are available here [die line link] will show the placement of the zipper so you can avoid this area.
